Ferrite Magnets, also known as ceramic magnets or hard ferrites, are produced through calcining a mixture of iron oxide (Fe2O3) and barium carbonate (BaCO3) and then sintering for consolidation.
Because of the low cost and excellent corrosion resistance of its raw material, the ferrite magnet gains an advantage in price and the environmental tolerance and has become one of the most widely used permanent magnets.
